From the Nevada DMV website:

“Anyone under the age of 18 who applies for an instruction permit, driver’s license or driver authorization card must provide the DMV with proof that he or she meets the minimum Nevada school attendance requirements.

The applicant must submit a Certification of Attendance (DMV 301) form when applying for an instruction permit. If a student’s permit or license is suspended because of truancy, a new DMV 301 must be submitted at the time of reinstating the permit or license.”

Since Southeast Tech will be closed for most of the month of July, from July 5, 2017, through July 31, 2017, the DMV 301 forms will be available at the Clark County School District Police Services building at 120 Corporate Park Drive, in Henderson, Nevada 89074.

Parents and guardians are asked to bring in their student’s school identification cards and/or student number between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Your student’s attendance for the second semester of the 2016-2017 school year will be used to determine eligibility.

Please note there will be a three-day turnaround time to process the paperwork through the Office of Attendance Enforcement.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
