Student Council promotes school spirit by planning dances, spirit weeks, assemblies, and other special events.  Student Council is also committed to perform community service and attend trainings and conferences to build on leadership qualities.

Student Council Voting in Commons

Voting for next year’s student council will take place during both lunches today in the Commons. All sophomores and freshmen are eligible to vote.

Results for next year’s officers will be announced on our student council social media pages this weekend as well as the being stated on the announcements Monday morning.

All candidates that have posters hanging around school must have them down by the end of second lunch today. Any posters up after second lunch will be taken down and thrown away.

Any freshmen, sophomores, or juniors interested in being a part of Student Council next year can pick up an application in Room D-217. Applications are due to Mr. Stuber by February 17, at 1:30 pm.

This is very late, but Southeast Tech just wanted to say “Thank You” to Student Council for making such a festive holiday display for everyone!  This was an amazing effort that everyone totally enjoyed!  Thank you Student Council!!!  Click here for images!

 

Fall Formal Tickets

Fall Formal Tickets

Tickets for Fall Formal will go on sale next week during both lunches.  Ticket prices are $30 the week of 10/24 – 10/28, and go up to $40 the following week.  If you plan on bringing a guest you can pick up a guest pass at the ticket table.

Championship Belt

After last week’s events, the juniors are now possess the championship belt, holding a one point lead over the seniors in our Battle of the Classes competition. Sophomores are not far behind and only off the lead by five points thanks to their win in the egg toss competition and the karaoke performance at lunch. Freshman fell to fourth place, but it’s still anyone’s game. Make sure to bring your change to donate at lunch on Friday and wear pink to recognize those who have battled breast cancer.

Student Council will be having a tailgater before the soccer game on Thursday 9/13/16. Come out for a free hot dog, chips, and a water bottle then cheer on our team as we take on Del Sol.
