Welcome to Southeast Tech!

We are so glad you chose to attend
one of the best schools in Las Vegas!

Welcome to the Class of 2020!

We are excited that 465 freshmen have chosen Southeast Career Technical Academy to further their education! Mrs. Harris, the 9th grade counselor, will conduct visits in the Health and Tools for Success classrooms in September to discuss policies and procedures for the school year. Several points of emphasis are covered during the visits, namely, the continuing enrollment policy, academic planning for the next four years, the attendance and discipline policy and college planning.

Students are also urged to join Mrs. Harris’s Google Classroom where information is posted specifically for freshmen. Mrs. Harris’s Google Classroom code is 6TZ5GBK.

We encourage parents to monitor grades consistently through Infinite Campus. Parents who are concerned about grades should contact the teacher directly by email. Teacher email addresses are available online at on the Faculty page. Parents can also schedule a parent-teacher conference to meet with one or more teachers by emailing or calling Mrs. Harris. Conferences are conducted at 6:35 a.m.- 6:50 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.-1:45 p.m. Conferences are not held to change classes, teachers, or lunch periods, but rather to work together to make the student more successful. Because Mr. McAllister and Mrs. Harris are often off campus or in classrooms or meetings, parents wishing to meet with either of them should call ahead and schedule an appointment to ensure their availability.

Thank you for allowing us to work with your students. We look forward to an exciting 2016-17 school year!
