Congratulations to the varsity baseball team on their win yesterday against Western 15-0. Gabe Kermode threw a 3 inning no-hitter, striking out 6 batters. Jayce Otis was 2 for 2 with 2 runs, 2 RBI’s and a double. Chandler Gehring was 2 for 3 with 2 runs. Good job guys!

Congratulations to the varsity baseball team on their win yesterday against Desert Pines 15-14. Jose Leon was 3 for 5 with 4 RBI’s, including the game winner in the top of the 7th inning. Jayce Otis was 3 for 4 with 4 runs, Sean Jones 2 for 3 with 3 RBI, Trevor Kephart 2 for 5, Jason Collingbourne added a triple and 3 RBI’s, and Chandler Gehring scored 4 times to lead the offense. Gabe Kermode improved to 4-0 on the season picking up the win. Good job guys!

Improv Team Going to Playoffs

Improv Team Going to Playoffs

The Southeast Tech Improvisation Team has made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the High School Jesters Playoffs! After defeating Rancho HS last Saturday, they now will face Valley HS this Saturday. Please come cheer for them on Saturday, March 25, in the Sunrise Mountain HS theatre. Southeast Tech’s show starts at 10 am. It’s free, and it’s fun.

Congratulations to the JV Softball team for extending their winning streak by defeating Desert Pines by a score of 27-14. Great job ladies!

Varsity Baseball Defeats Desert Pines

Varsity Baseball Defeats Desert Pines

Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team on their dramatic come-from-behind win yesterday against Desert Pines. Down 10-4 entering the bottom of the 6th, Jason Collingbourne lead off the inning with a double, followed by consecutive singles by Oscar Reynoso and Chandler Gehring. With one out, Trevor Kephart was intentionally walked. Sean Jones was hit by a pitch with two outs that brought in a run to make the score 10-6. Gabe Kermode then hit a grand slam to tie the game. Desert Pines scored a run in the top of the 7th to make it 11-10. In the bottom of 7th, Jayce Otis had an infield singled and advanced to 2nd on a throwing error. Trevor Kephart was again intentionally walked, and both runners advanced on a wild pitch putting runners at 2nd and 3rd. Jose Leon stepped to the plate and drove a pitch into left-center field that scored both runners for the walk-off win. Great job guys!

Congratulations to the varsity baseball team on their 18-0 win on Monday against Cheyenne. Gabe Kermode picked up the win striking out 8 in 3 innings. Trevor Kephart led the offense going 3 for 3 with a double, homerun, 4 RBI’s, and 3 runs. Sean Jones was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s, Jose Leon 2 for 2 with a double, Chandler Gehring had a triple and 4 runs, and Jayce Otis scored three times. Good job guys!

Congratulations to Katy Orellana and Avery Rayos for being selected by the Las Vegas Review Journal to the Nevada Flag Football All State Team. Avery Rayos was selected as an Honorable Mention All State member, and Katy Orellana was one of twelve girls in the valley to be selected 1st Team All State. This is a tremendous honor and both girls are very deserving. Congratulations ladies on this amazing accomplishment!!
